Since receiving her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2014, Ms. Cohen continued her studies in King’s College London and received an LLM with honors in Intellectual Property Law. She worked as outside legal consultant for the European Commission in the area of artificial intelligence and block chain technology. Upon returning to New York, she has primarily worked in the areas of premises liability, general negligence, property and casualty defense and the Labor Law. In addition, she has also defended claims for benefits under ERISA group insurance plans. Ms. Cohen is still extremely passionate about Intellectual Property Law and has published articles overseas regarding abuse of patents in the pharmaceutical sector.
Ms. Cohen speaks English, Polish, French and Japanese.
